U.S. Network Map

The Network Map allows you to display your network and points of presence to your customers. Users can see the service area and flow of data through your network. Clicking on the map will drill down to reveal points of presence (POP’s) and will allow users to click on the POP and get printable street directions. This is also a great solution for National Retail Chains to show locations and services as well as directions to locations.

U.S. LATA/Rate Center Map

Displaying Rate Centers and LATA’s in TrueVector is a great way to show your services in an interactive map. You can use color bands to differentiate between areas of service, proposed service and no service. Users can zoom down within the Rate Centers to view services offered. You can also combine this map and the network map by using our extra search module. This would give users the ability to toggle between network POP’s and Rate Centers.

U.S. Map with Search Module

This map has an extra module that allows for filtered search results. With this module, users can further define search criteria. If choosing to view properties in a specific zip code or region, users can limit the returns by other criteria such as number of bedrooms, bathrooms or home price. This module sits outside the TrueVector map on our clients web site. This module is also used with our two-way communication module and action management module, which allows for back and forth communication between our map and our clients server side scripts.

2-Way Communication Map

This is a full functioning TrueVector map with an added module that allows for two-way communication between the map and your web server. This module allows a customer to have TrueVector send it the list of items that it is currently displaying. The customer can then send back to TrueVector instructions specific to those objects. What color? What happens when the user clicks on it? That sort of thing. This is a very useful module when you need the map to alert you to a change in data. Its one thing to use the map to track package deliveries. But it is even better when the map alerts you to delays in delivery. This was the original purpose for the two-way communication, but it is used also to assign and display sales territories.

Multiple Layer Map

Toggle Area Code/Zip Code or another combination of search layers. In this example, a 3rd screen media company can allow prospective advertisers to search for counts of cell phone users in either area code boundaries or zip code boundaries. Users (advertisers) can select whole states or zoom down to the county level. There they can choose to push ad’s to all zip codes in the county or zoom down to the zip code level. The toggle button that opens up allows users to choose between area codes and zip codes to make their choice.

Single State Congressional Map

Single State maps are a great way to start with a TrueVector interactive map. Additional states can be added as you grow. The congressional district overlay is an example of the customizations we can do. Other overlays can be MSA’s, Territories,Regions,or just about anything you can think of. This particular type of map is great for States to show website visitors points of interest and major attractions. This is also an example of how we can display data within the flash movie.
